The macOS release moves to September

The macOS build of Feedback Emulator was meant to ship this month. It is now planned for September.

The build itself is not the hold-up. Shipping a signed and notarised macOS plugin means the Apple developer account has to sit under a registered company, and getting the company set up and the account tied to it is taking longer than expected. Until that is done we cannot notarise, and an unnotarised plugin is not something we want to hand anyone.

Nothing changes about the plugin: it stays free, and the Windows version is unaffected. We will post here as soon as there is a date.

A macOS build is on the way

Feedback Emulator is Windows-only today. A macOS version (AU and VST3, Apple silicon and Intel) is in progress and will land as a free update on the same download page.

If you want to test an early build, get in touch and we will add you to the beta list.

Feedback Emulator 1.0.1

A fix for broken feedback on stereo tracks. The engine now runs as true dual-mono instead of being advanced twice per sample frame.
